ENERGY REDUCTION PRODUCT LISTING

Management is pleased to announce that Ceramic Insulcoat Roof coating is now listed in the Cool Roof Rating Council (CCRC) rated product directory (www.coolroofs.org).

In the United States, the cool roof market has expanded significantly due to government mandated programs, the desire to reduce energy consumption and the need to minimize the formation of greenhouse gases and smog. Architects, government specifiers and code bodies are demanding verified performance of roof products. The CRRC of Oakland, California, provides a clear and fair rating system for roof products and measures solar reflectance (SR) and thermal emittance (TE) radiative properties.

Federal and local government agencies, such as the US Department of Defense, have mandated programs for long-term energy reduction. The long-term energy reduction goal of the Department of Defense is to reduce energy consumption on a British Thermal Unit (BTU) on a per square footage basis. The Department reports its progress in achieving this goal annually to the Department of Energy. Federal Governments contribution to this program is $60 million for 2007.

Our USA distributor, ECO Green Distribution Systems says, "The CRRC ratings provide Envirocoatings with additional testing necessary to satisfy cool roof requirements and position us to participate in this tremendous growing market segment".
